Job Title: HR Manager, Shared Services (Compensation & Analytics)
Location: Irvine CA
In this role you will perform or manage compensation related functions approx. 60% of your day, and HR Analytics approx. 20%; with the balance assisting in other Shared Services.
Responsible for management of HR Shared Services functions, with a focus Compensation and HR Data Analytics. Will also assist with Benefits and HRIS related projects as well work closely with HR Business Partners to ensure support of HR Operations.
Manages external salary survey submissions for benchmarking; analyzes results; oversees market analysis for all job functions/groups to ensure programs are externally competitive, internally equitable, and legally compliant and makes proactive recommendations to ensure market competitiveness. Participates in M&A activities reviewing compensation packages and develops integration plans.
Partner with HR Operations, as well as other functional groups across the organization to understand data analytic needs. Manage the development and maintenance of report and dashboard distribution ensuring completeness and accuracy while being mindful of confidentiality.
Job Duties and Responsibilites:
Manage all aspects of Compensation including by not limited to:
Execute, administer, and provide analytical support for a variety of compensation policies and programs such as Short-Term Incentives, Long-Term Incentives, and other recognition incentive programs including development and communication awards.
Participate in annual market surveys and development of repeatable processes in which market data and internal equity are used in salary analysis related to market adjustments and promotions.
Develop and maintain Career Framework structure including Job Families and Sub-Families.
Evaluate current job positions, promotions, and compensation proposals for prospective employees, etc.
Develop job descriptions including the FLSA evaluations.
Manage job documentation, job descriptions, and databases related to job codes and job families.
Maintain salary structure and competitive salary to attract job applicants who can offer a long-run commitment.
Develop strong partnerships with the HR Business Partners, recruiting and business leaders in the organization in order to identify and solve compensation related issues and provide consulting expertise.
Develop and deliver training and programs/presentations for educating HR Business Partners and managers about compensation-related topics and initiatives.
Manage all aspects of HR Data Analytics including but not limited to:
Create, maintain, and distribute accurate, complete, and meaningful HR data.
Partner with HR Leaders to effectively utilize HR analytics to support their work, including workforce planning and analysis
Establish guidelines and standards for access to the data with a focus of confidentiality
· High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) or Work Equivalent, Field of Study: Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or similar field preferred.
· 10 plus years of experience in a compensation position
· 5 plus years of experience managing people
· Seasoned professional with full understanding of development and management of compensation programs and distribution of meaningful HR Data Analytics to business leaders
· Working knowledge of multiple human resource discipline in addition to compensation to include employee engagement, performance management, federal and state employment laws, HRIS, and payroll.
· Resolves wide range of issues in creative ways
Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office
Certifications & Licenses: CCP Designation preferred
