Understanding the design of competitive rewards requires much more than information regarding compensation practices than just pay levels.  Join us for a lively and detailed examination of a deep and wide database of survey research covering not just cash compensation, but also the design and form of bonus plans, as well as cash allowances and differentials, and deferred cash programs.  Western Management Group has been conducting research focusing on these issues for many years, and has data covering many hundreds of employers across all industries and geographies.  This is your chance to get acquainted with this competitive information, what it means, and how you might apply it. This presentation will cover:

  • Total cash compensation, including base, bonus, variable, and long-term incentives.
  • Cash allowance and differential programs.
  • Deferred cash programs.

Our presenter:

Steve Treder - Senior Vice President for Strategic Development for Western Management Group

Steve is the Vice President for Strategic Development for Western Management Group. Prior to joining WMG, Steve was the Worldwide Sales Compensation Manager for Hewlett-Packard, and held senior Compensation and Human Resources positions in the high technology industry for nearly twenty years. Among his areas of particular expertise are Incentive Compensation Plan design and Labor Market analysis. Steve holds a Master's Degree from Stanford University and a Bachelor's Degree from Santa Clara University, both in the field of Sociology.
